Evaluation
The faculty of St. Stephen School realizes the need for continuous evaluation of students. In keeping with Christian principles, this evaluation is to be positive and supportive of students’ efforts. Student evaluation is based on the individual student’s achievement in comparison to his/her instructional level. This evaluation is determined through formal and informal testing, class work, and homework. Each student’s effort and conduct are also evaluated.
Testing Program
St. Stephen School follows the testing program as developed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The Standford 10 will be administered to students in grade 3 - 8 in the spring. Reading and Math screening may be administered to incoming students for grades 2 through 8.
